Kay Lynn Tynefield, (Nee Hehl ) of Hartland, Wisconsin passed away on March 6, 2015 at the age of 75.
Kay is survived by her sisters Gayle Breitner and Shirley Paquette, her sons Gale and Tyler Tynefield, daughters Terrell and Merritt Tynefield, Grandsons Andrew, Austin, Derrick and Demetrius Tynefield, Granddaughters Kasey and Miranda Tynefield and Great grandsons Ethan and Rylan Tynefield. Kay is also survived by countless other friends and relatives to include Dennis and Ingrid Kirsch.
Kay spent most of her life serving others. She entered nursing school in the late '50s and worked through seven decades in hospitals and nursing homes throughout the midwest up until just a few years ago touching thousands of lives.
Kay loved to cook and everyone loved her food not only from her home kitchen but also from her restaurants, Kay's Meat'n'Place in Stone Bank or Kay's Italian Window in Hartland. But she didn't stop there.
She went out of her way to care for all children that needed it. When neighbor kids needed food, care or love, she provided. She put others first. A rare quality today.
Kay above all loved to laugh, sing, dance and enjoy the beauty that life offered her. She loved the water, the sun, flowers, music and movies and being with family and friends.
A memorial celebration of Kay's life will be held at the American Legion VFW hall, 231 Goodwin Ave., Hartland, WI 53029 on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 3 PM.
