OBITUARY
Timothy J. Stapleton

Timothy J. “Timmy” Stapleton found peace on Monday
November 6, 2017.  He was born in Hartford October 5, 1943.

He is preceded in death by the love of his life Diane, who made her way to the Lord August 24, 2003, his parents Eleanor and Winfred Stapleton, his brother-in-law Dick Kaiser and his niece Jenny Mislang. He is survived by his daughter Amy Stapleton, his son Edward Stapleton, and grandchildren Jacob, Leah and Sullivan. Further survived by brothers; Paul (Gail) Stapleton, Greg (Holly) Stapleton, sisters; Kathy Kaiser, Eileen (Scott) Beal, Linda (Andy) Sparr, sisters-in-law; Del Renee (Steven) Cull, Rose Ann Byrd, Stephanie (Dave) Dunaway, brothers-in-law; Vince Scardina and Eric (Deb) Schultz, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Timmy was enjoying his retirement after 25 years from Arrowhead High School where he worked as a custodian and then as part of the maintenance department/grounds crew. He was also a 37 year member of the North Lake Volunteer Fire Department. He’s been a lifelong supporter of youth baseball both playing and coaching and an avid follower/player of the North Lake Lakers. He took pride in helping to groom the field for the boys to play on Sunday afternoons where you most likely could find him at the fence cheering the team on. He enjoyed euchre, ice fishing, hunting, and socializing with his friends. He was warm hearted and generous beyond measure and never had a bad word to say about anyone.

There will be a visitation Monday November 13th from 4-6:45 PM at St. Teresa of Calcutta Church in North Lake with a prayer service at 7 PM. A Celebration of Life reception will follow at the North Lake Fire House. Final rest will be in St. Clare Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family or the North Lake Rec Department.
