Kenneth Wayne Mautz, 79, of Hartland, Wis., was born to eternal life on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, surrounded by his family.
He was born August 13, 1939, in Garrison, N.D., to Emanuel and Elsie Mautz. He graduated from Garrison High School in 1957 and was a member of the North Dakota National Guard.
In 1964 he married Diane Hansen in Garrison and they moved to Wisconsin. He worked for Harnischfeger Corp. for 40 years. He was active in his children’s various sports, both as a spectator and a coach. He was an avid bowler; gardener, loved playing cards (especially cribbage with his children and grandchildren); and read about 5 books a week. He always had a joke or comic strip to share.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years; children Scott, Pam (Mark) Glad, Cindy (Doug) Alexander, Gregg (Melissa), and Tim; grandchildren, Brittany, Brady and Bennett Glad, Kylee (fiancée Jim Carey) Radulovich, and Rowen Mautz; brothers, Gerry (Eunice), Allan (Shelly) and a sister Shirley (Leroy) Hall; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends

Visitation Monday, January 28, 2019, from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at noon at St. Charles Catholic Church, 313 Circle Dr., Hartland.
In lieu of flowers the family would welcome memorials to St. Charles Catholic Church or the St. Charles Food Pantry.
