Mark W. Conley passed away unexpectedly
Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at the age of 63.
Mark grew up in Pewaukee and developed a fondness for Pewaukee Lake early in his life. The lake and all the activities it offered him brought him great joy, but by far, sailing was his very favorite thing to do. He loved racing sailboats and is a lifelong member of the Pewaukee Yacht Club. Though he stopped racing a few years back, he continued to enjoy judging the races on the lake each summer.
Mark had a zest for life and was a friend to many. He will be sadly missed by all of us, but let there be comfort in knowing that he lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute of it.
Mark leaves behind his wife of 24 years, Beth, his sons, Will and Charlie, his mother, Genevieve, sisters Rosemary, Nancy, Cathy, and Mary Pat, brothers Steve, Dean, John, TJ, Paul, and Kelly, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Pat.
A celebration of his life will take place at the Pewaukee Yacht Club, N22W28204 Edgewater Drive, Pewaukee, on Sunday, June 11, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for the boys’ education are appreciated.
