OBITUARY
​Margaret A. Solveson
 




Margaret “Marge” A. Solveson (nee Lahti) peacefully joined her husband Charles in eternal rest on Saturday, April 15, 2017. 
 Marge was born in Superior, Wisconsin, and was a long-time resident of Nashotah, Wisconsin. More recently she resided at Shorehaven Health and Rehabilitation Center in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.

Marge graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Superior with a degree in music education and spent many years teaching music in various school systems throughout Waukesha County. 
After retirement, she participated in many music-oriented groups including the Oconomowoc Community Choir, Waukesha Choral Union, a local string quartet and especially enjoyed attending Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra performances with a dear friend. 
At Shorehaven she enjoyed participating in the many activities offered, occasionally playing the piano and she was a regular attendee at Monday night bingo.

Marge will be forever remembered by her sons Charles J. (Jodi) 
of Oconomowoc, Robert of Mosinee and John of Hartland, granddaughters Hannah and Miranda Solveson of Madison and Milwaukee, and her beloved Golden Retriever, Marlee. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and special friends. Marge was preceded in death by her husband Charles L., parents John V. and Lempi (nee Mack) Lahti, brothers Marvin and Robert Lahti, brother-in-law Eugene Solveson, and sister-in-law Elizabeth Taff (nee Solveson). 

The family would like to give a special “thank you” to the wonderful staff, nurses, caregivers and volunteers at Shorehaven for their exceptional care, dedication and friendship during her stay. Also, thank you to Dr. Brenda Boschek for the incredible care provided to Marge. These people are true difference makers.

Visitation from 10 AM to 11:30 AM, with Service at 11:30 AM 
on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at St. Anskar's Episcopal Church 
(N48 W31340 Hill Road) Hwy 83, Hartland. Burial at Holy Innocents Cemetery will follow the service. 

Memorials may be directed to St. Anskar’s Episcopal Church, Shorehaven Charitable Foundation (Oconomowoc, WI), or the 
charity of the donor’s choice.
