Suzanne was passed away, peacefully, after a long battle with Alzheimer's
on Wednesday, June 14, 2017. She spent her last few years living at Shorehaven in Oconomowoc.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Edwin Chladil and her second husband, Daniel Miller. She also now joins her brothers, Russel Schultze Jr. and Andrew Schultze.
She is survived by her sons, Charles (Jenn) Chladil and Peter (Beth) Chladil. She also leaves behind two sisters Florine (Gordon) Swartz and Mary Edna Borski along with several beloved nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind three stepchildren Laura Curry, Sharon (Neil) Smith, and Jim Miller.
Suzanne was born on May 26, 1936 in Oconomowoc, WI to Russel and Edna Schultze. She married Edwin Chladil in 1958 who passed away in 1982 from cancer. She and Edwin lived in Fredonia,WI and then later moved to Lac du Flambeau, WI. She later married Daniel Miller in Lac du Flambeau,
WI in 1985. They loved living on the lake, entertaining, and traveling.
She graduated from high school in Oconomowoc and later from UW Madison with a degree in education. She taught in Port Washington, Oseo, and Fredonia, Wisconsin. She was an officer of the Squaw Lake Association. She helped with the Lions and Lioness clubs in Lac du Flambeau. She also worked as the medical librarian at the Howard Young Hospital in Woodruff, WI. Suzanne had a passion for gardening and dogs. She loved looking out the window and watching the wildlife come to the feeder outside their big dining-room window.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 4:00 PM on Tuesday June 20, 2017 at Shorehaven 1305 W. Wisconsin Ave. Oconomowoc.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Alzheimer's Association or the
Humane Animal Society of your choice.
